Job summary

Spllabs in Conroe, TX is seeking a skilled Analytical Chemist to support metals analysis in our environmental laboratory. You will operate ICP/ICP-MS, prepare samples, and analyze data to ensure compliance and data quality.

You will contribute to method development, CAPA investigations, QA/QC, and documentation in LIMS, with a focus on accuracy and timely turnaround. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Conroe facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on metals analysis in an analytical lab.
• Experience with QA/QC, data review and CAPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform trace metals analysis on environmental samples following EPA methods.
• Digest, prepare, and process samples using approved SOPs and regulatory protocols.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot ICP and ICP-MS instruments.
• Review and document data in LIMS and support QA/QC checks.
