ANSER is seeking a Metallurgy Analyst to support IBAS, evaluating critical minerals and materials for investment and prototyping decisions. Role includes site visits, stakeholder engagement, and developing strategic communications for senior leadership.

Onsite at Arlington or Mark Center in Alexandria, or telework within the National Capital Region. Requires a Secret clearance and 3+ years in relevant analysis, with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years of mineral processing, production, science, or technology analysis.
• Understanding of critical minerals, mineralogy, or geology.
• Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-tempo, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with DoD and interagency partners to identify minerals needs and mitigation strategies.
• Assist annual budget management exceeding $1B across large projects.
• Evaluate industry projects for technical and acquisition feasibility.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance across projects.
• Represent government interests in meetings with industry and officials.
• Document decisions and actions; track follow-ups.
• Conduct stakeholder outreach and site visits to support project development.
• Prepare briefings, official correspondence, and analytic products.
