Qualifications

• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science with 5+ years in heat-treat/manufacturing and metallurgical lab operations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design activity participation for new products; document and recommend thermal processing best practices.
• Research and develop material standards and metal selections meeting corrosion, wear, plating requirements.
• Establish in-house heat-treat specifications and support production with troubleshooting.
• Maintain combustion/processing lab and conduct microhardness, corrosion testing, sectioning, and polishing.
