Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Materials Engineering, Engineering Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a quality engineering role in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data analytics (Minitab, JMP, or equivalent).
• Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate material selection, heat treatment requirements, and processing routes for manufacturing jobs.
• Investigate and resolve metallurgical, quality, and heat-treatment issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming materials, processes, and products.
• Manage third-party laboratory testing and track results.
• Verify incoming material chemistry against certifications and specifications.
• Support supplier quality initiatives and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with various teams to develop metallurgical programs and improve process capability.
