Job summary

Sigil Partners Staffing is seeking a Technical and Quality Leader to apply metallurgical knowledge and heat treating experience to operations. You will partner with Quality to ensure processes meet customer specs, AS9100 and NADCAP requirements, and coach plant managers toward clear responsibilities and performance goals.

Qualifications

• BS in Metallurgy or Materials Science is required.
• MS in Metallurgy or Materials Science is a plus.
• 10+ years of hands-on heat-treat operations experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Apply metallurgical knowledge and heat treating experience to operations.
• Partner with Quality personnel to ensure processes meet customer specs, AS9100, NADCAP requirements.
• Support and follow through on operating procedures and employee training.
• Ensure corrective actions are followed through and address underlying causes.
• Lead, coach and develop plant managers establishing clear responsibilities and performance goals.
• Promote communication, co-operations and consistent expectations across both locations.
• Assess staffing needs and partner with HR on hiring, onboarding and performance goals.
