Job summary

Kymera International is seeking a Process Engineer to lead process improvement and new product development for molten and hot metals applications. The role focuses on applying metallurgical expertise to transfer technology into Manufacturing, develop SOPs, and ensure safety and quality across processes.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a molten/hot metals manufacturing environment with emphasis on process improvement and new product development.
• General metallurgical laboratory skills.
• Proven ability to bring focus, clarity and results to process improvement and new product development.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities with timely results.
• Proven ability to work with individuals at all levels inside and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement and new product development initiatives tied to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Oversee transfer of technology to Manufacturing and support equipment/resource justifications (CAPEX).
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work station procedures, and related documentation.
• Provide technical support to Production, Sales, and Quality as needed, including customer specifications and corrective actions.
• Prepare and communicate regular reports on process engineering activities.
