Job summary

Kymera International is seeking a Process Engineer to apply metallurgical expertise toward process improvement and new product development. The role leads technology transfer to Manufacturing and ensures safety and quality system integration.

Responsibilities include executing applied R&D, developing SOPs, and delivering reports on process engineering activities, while collaborating with Production, Sales and Quality teams to meet client specifications and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering field is required.
• 3–7 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, focused on process improvement and new product development.
• Experience with molten or hot metal processes or metal powders is preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities with timely results.
• Solid metallurgical laboratory skills and problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide metallurgical, technical and scientific expertise to improve products and processes.
• Identify and implement projects to enhance plant products and manufacturing methods.
• Lead technology transfer of improvements and new products to Manufacturing and support equipment/resource justifications.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures and related work instructions.
• Prepare and communicate process engineering reports and data to leadership, Production, Sales and Quality teams.
