Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvements in manufacturing process capability, capacity, and productivity. You will develop SOPs, train personnel, and support melting, casting, and post-casting operations in a safe environment.

You will gather and analyze data, apply SPC/DOE techniques, and collaborate with Quality to resolve customer issues. Proficiency with MS Office is assumed; Lean Six Sigma and related tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering from an accredited college.
• One to three years’ work experience in Process Engineering.
• Exposure to melting, casting, solidification is helpful.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Focus on working safely and supporting a safe work environment.
• Identify and implement plant performance improvements to optimize volume, yields and quality.
• Gather data, apply statistical techniques to improve process capability.
• Provide technical support for melting, casting, and post-casting processes.
• Develop SOPs for process and equipment operation.
• Provide training to manufacturing personnel.
• Work with Quality on customer complaint resolution.
