Job summary

Nathan Trotter & Co. seeks an innovative Process Engineer for our Martinsville, VA facility. You will apply engineering and data-driven analysis to improve metallurgical processes, equipment reliability, and overall operations, supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or closely related field.
Experience in non-ferrous metallurgy or heavy industrial environment.
Proven ability to analyze process data and improve safety, recovery, quality, and efficiency.
Experience leading or supporting capital projects and process design.

Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturing processes and equipment performance to identify improvements.
Monitor process parameters to stabilize production and improve quality.
Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Develop engineering solutions and support capital projects from design to validation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
Maintain engineering documents such as PFDs and P&IDs.
