Job summary

ATI is seeking a Lab Technician (6) for Metallography Evaluation at our Monroe, NC facility. You will evaluate metallographic samples under a microscope to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications, recording results and releasing final data for certification.

The role requires attention to detail, self-motivation, and teamwork. A night shift runs from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule, with training possibly including day sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing is an asset.
• Quality assurance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize samples.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Engage in activities that promote growth in knowledge necessary to perform essential tasks.
• Assist in routine Laboratory operations and/or perform other work as directed.
• Maintain work areas in a clean orderly condition.
• Evaluate metallographic samples under microscope against industry standards and company specifications.
