Job summary

ITW ShineMark, a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc., is seeking a Metallizer - Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10pm-6am) in Bloomfield, CT. Responsibilities include reading the schedule, starting/stopping the metallizer, aligning parts, threading film, and monitoring product quality throughout production runs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing or mechanical aptitude experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and/or mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read schedule to determine timing for production changeovers.
• Start/stop machine using control panel.
• Align or fasten machine parts with hand tools.
• Thread film through rollers and adjust wire feeds and line speed.
• Inspect product and adjust machine to meet specifications.
