Job summary

ITW ShineMark in Newburyport, MA is seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator to run embossing and slitting processes. You will read schedules, manage changeovers, feed film, and monitor quality while maintaining inventory and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to work overtime on weekends. Forklift operation and machine control experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and perform basic machine setup.

Responsibilities

• Read schedule to determine timing for machine changeovers and runs.
• Ensure sufficient inventory for production.
• Start/stop machine via control panel; adjust speed and temperature as needed.
• Record production quantities and perform quality checks.
• Prepare for machine changeovers and assist with material handling as required.
• Observe for defects and coordinate with team lead for adjustments.
• Operate for embossing, slitting, and safe handling of film materials.
