Responsibilities

• Read schedule to determine timing for production changeovers on the metallizer machine.
• Start and stop machine operation using the control panel.
• Align or fasten machine parts such as rollers and boats with hand tools.
• Thread or feed film through rollers and adjust wire feeds and line speed.
• Observe machine and product to detect defects and adjust as needed.
• Perform various setups to imprint metallization and handle material.
• Inspect product to ensure conformance and perform QA testing as needed.
• Clean machine and parts between runs and handle material movement using carts or pallets.
• Operate and drive a forklift/fork truck.
