Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on finishing equipment.
• Ability to read scheduling sheets and paperwork for conforming/non-conforming parts.
• Ability to inspect parts for quality and determine corrective action.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and pallets safely.
• Ability to maintain pace on line and unload promptly.
• Ability to differentiate colors and verify shades with color samples.
• Ability to use paint measuring device and record results on process sheets.
• Ability to operate scanner and printer and keep them maintained.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal finishing conveyor safely and accurately.
• Make on-the-spot quality judgments on conforming and non-conforming parts.
• Support all aspects of the metal coating process.
• Focus on performance, quality control, on-time completion and flexibility.
• Take ownership of safety, quality, output and housekeeping responsibilities.
• Keep work areas clean, organize hooks/pallets, and manage recyclables.
