Looking for a hands-on manufacturing position with a consistent first-shift schedule? A leading Springfield-area metal processing facility is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to operate slitting, cut-to-length, and blanking equipment while maintaining quality and production standards.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday
• 5:30 AM - 1:45 PM
• Full-Time

Pay

• $19.50 per hour

What You'll Do

• Operate slitting, cut-to-length, and blanking machinery
• Cut and process metal materials to customer specifications
• Verify dimensions and inspect product quality throughout production
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
• Convert and work with fractions, decimals, and measurements
• Perform equipment inspections and basic machine maintenance
• Maintain efficient production flow while meeting quality standards
• Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
