Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, OH, is hiring a General Maintenance technician in the Metalizing department. This weekend shift role focuses on maintenance of facilities and production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and cleaning tasks to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will document work in the CMMS PMXpert, support 5S practices, and collaborate across teams to meet SQDC goals while maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in maintenance and troubleshooting, including basic electrical and mechanical experience.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Willing to take direction from others
• Capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer proficient-Microsoft Windows based computer operation.
• Can successfully work in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Knowledge of paint systems a plus.
• Experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems a plus.
• Ability to fabricate, including metal fitting, welding, & cutting a plus.
• Electrical experience with systems from low voltage up to 480V 3 phase a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports facility upkeep, including painting, drywall, and debris removal to maintain SQDC standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of plant grounds and work areas.

• Collaborates with teams to address issues and escalate when needed.
• Operates and maintains metallizing equipment peripherals as required.
• Supports 5S and general plant housekeeping.
• Ensures safety procedures and respirator requirements are followed.

Job Summary

This General Maintenance position is responsible for performing all facilities and production- related maintenance in support of operations. Responsibilities vary greatly, and include minor electrical and mechanical repairs, plumbing, facilities upkeep (painting, drywall installation and repair), filter changes, emptying trash and recycling cardboard throughout plant, among other needs. This positions also performs basic maintenance on various equipment (anodizing belt changes, etc.).

Essential Functions

• Performs minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs and provides support to all departments for basic maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Responsible for minor facilities improvements and preventative maintenance (painting, drywall installation and repair, filter replacements, furniture / equipment movement) and daily trash and recycling within the plant.
• Actively keeps the facility grounds well-maintained (daily trash/ debris pick up trash, pop cans, cigarette butts, etc). Keeps the dumpster areas clean and sweeps parking lots as needed. Maintain sidewalks free and clear of debris, including snow and ice.
• Performs all cleaning and preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on all necessary equipment, including the metallizing parts washer and mandrels.
• Documents all work performed and all parts usage through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), PMXpert.
• Communicates with team members regarding any issues, etc., that occur within the facility that require intervention or escalation.
• Supports 5S and general cleanliness of the plant, including sweeping floors, wiping down equipment, keeping skids stacked neatly designated areas, removing broken skids or pieces, and stacking empty totes onto skids and moving to dock area.
• Keeps aluminum and titanium scrap in neat, orderly fashion in designated areas.
• Consistently supports production and quality standards and leads with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in mind
• Performs all other duties as assigned to support the facilities and production.
