Job summary

Dixie Supply in Theodore, AL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to engage with telephone and walk-in customers and guide them through the purchasing process. The role focuses on building relationships and strong communication to convey product benefits and services.

You will maintain relationships with existing clients, assist walk-in customers, ensure order and delivery accuracy, and stay current with software used in the metal roofing/construction industry.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Construction and/or Metal Roofing Industry required.
• Proven experience in sales, inside sales or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly.
• Exceptional listening skills to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects to ensure repeat business.
• Provide excellent customer service to all walk-in customers.
• Ensure order accuracy, delivery information accuracy and secure payment.
• Maintain strong working relationships with lumberyard and manufacturing employees to better service customers.
• Stay up to date on software and technologies used in the metal roofing/construction industry.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
