Job summary

The Metal Development Specialist role focuses on advancing and quality-controlling stone-coated metal roofing operations. You will train Install Managers, Project Coordinators, and subcontracted Installation Partners to ensure top material ordering, field execution, and inventory practices.

Key duties include hands-on training, overseeing monthly virtual meetings, and maintaining safety and compliance while staying current with certifications for metal profiles.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in metallurgy and materials engineering.
• Experience with metal development processes and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Train IMs, PCs, and IPs on proper ordering of metal materials using Hover measurements and the MLG ordering tool.
• Facilitate in-office and on-site training for IMs, PCs, and IPs to ensure consistent install quality and understanding of system details.
• Lead weekly virtual team meetings to support metal ordering, troubleshoot, develop training videos, and coach on best practices.
