Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to work on the warehouse floor with heavy machinery. You will apply metal to orders, process material per work orders, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

You will verify product against setup notes, record measurements, and communicate changes to sales as needed. Responsibilities include equipment setup, preventive maintenance, tagging, packaging support, and contributing to lean and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in the material handler position.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to read and write.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift/ crane operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per work order specifications.
• Process setup notes according to work order specifications.
• Record measurements and verify conformance.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per instructions.
• Assist in packaging and lean/quality activities.
