Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA in the United States is seeking a Material Handler to apply metal to customer orders and maintain safe, clean processing areas on the warehouse floor, ensuring accurate entry of work order data.

You will operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment, inspect and verify products, set up equipment per specifications, and support lean and quality initiatives while training others when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math skills.
• Safety mindset required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred in metals.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Use of hand held measuring tools.
• Computer literacy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to customer orders and process material per work order specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per specifications.
• Record measurements and enter information accurately.
• Maintain safe, clean processing area and equipment.
• Train others when required.
• Support lean and quality initiatives on the warehouse floor.
