Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Bloomington, MN is hiring for a Material Handler on 2nd shift. You will operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to pull, inspect, and verify product per work-order specifications.

You will set up equipment safely, record measurements, enter IDs, assist in packaging, and help with lean and quality initiatives. This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per specifications.
• Process setup notes according to work order specifications.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per instructions.
• Assist in packaging of material per work instructions and work order.
• Maintain issued measurement equipment in working condition.
• Identify, record and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Provide feedback on machine efficiency and product quality.
• Train others when required.
• Assist in lean and quality activities.
