Job Summary:

As a metal polisher, you will be responsible for finishing metal surfaces to high standards of quality and appearance. Using various tools, techniques, and polishing compounds, you will smooth, polish, and buff metal surfaces to remove imperfections, scratches, and oxidation, achieving a flawless finish. Your attention to detail and precision will enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of the final product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proven experience as a metal polisher or similar role in manufacturing or metalworking environments.
• Proficiency in using polishing equipment, tools, and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
• Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and operate machinery.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of commercial marble cleaning.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Certification or training in metal polishing or related field.
• Experience with various metal finishes (e.g., brushed, mirror, satin).
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in metalworking environments.

Compensation

Harvard offers a competitive salary of $16.00 per hour, along with a benefits package including medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, as well as a 401(k) savings plan.
