Job Title: Grinder

Location: Waukesha, WI

Reports To: Finishing Supervisor

Shift: 1st (5AM-1:30PM, Monday - Friday)

Part I - Position Purpose

We are seeking a Grinder to join our team in Waukesha, WI! The role involves grinding and finishing metal castings using hand tools, belt grinders, and wheel grinders to meet quality standards. Experience with castings, grinding equipment, or related foundry work is preferred, but training will be provided for motivated candidates.

Part II - Job Functions

• Operate grinding and finishing equipment to remove excess material from castings.
• Inspect castings for defects.
• Shape parts to meet dimensions and finish requirements.
• Follow work orders and routing instructions.
• Conduct quality control on finished parts.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment.
• Attend daily meetings.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Assist with other foundry tasks and maintain a clean work area.
