Express Employment Professionals is hiring for Welder II candidates for a manufacturing client in the East Metro, MN. The role is on a first shift, Monday to Friday, with an hourly pay of $27 and weld-test based advancement.

Openings include Welder II – Frame Welder/Fabricator. Ideal candidates will read fabrication drawings, weld steel frames, grind and finish welds while working independently in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience (110V & 220V preferred).
• Metal fabrication experience (Welder II).
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with common shop tools.
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass a weld test, drug screen, and physical.

Metal Fabricator Welder II East Metro, MN $27hr 1st Shift
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for Welder II candidates for a manufacturing client in the East Metro. These are evaluation-to-hire opportunities on 1st shift, Monday-Friday (6:30 AM-3:00 PM). Pay rate $27/hour, depending on experience and weld test results.

Open Positions

Welder II – Frame Welder/Fabricator

Seeking an experienced MIG welders with metal fabrication skills to build commercial hollow metal doors and steel frames. Ideal candidates can read fabrication drawings, weld steel frames, grind and finish products, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld steel frames and hollow metal products
• Grind and finish welds
• Read work orders and tape measurements accurately
• Operate grinders and other shop tools
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Working Conditions

Manufacturing environment is susceptible to temperature changes, the majority of the day is spent on your feet with constant use of hands with repetitive motions/ positions. Including; bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling and squatting. Lift 10-50 pounds regularly, 50-100 lbs+ periodically. Hearing protection and use of other Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
