Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for Welder II candidates for a manufacturing client in the East Metro, MN. The role is on a first shift, Monday to Friday, with an hourly pay of $27 and weld-test based advancement.

Openings include Welder II – Frame Welder/Fabricator. Ideal candidates will read fabrication drawings, weld steel frames, grind and finish welds while working independently in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience (110V & 220V preferred).
• Metal fabrication experience (Welder II).
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with common shop tools.
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass a weld test, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld steel frames and hollow metal products.
• Grind and finish welds.
• Read work orders and tape measurements accurately.
• Operate grinders and other shop tools.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
