Job summary

Elgen Staffing recruitment is looking for a skilled Fabricator to join a precision metal shop in Columbus. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of fabrication experience and can read prints, use a tape measure, and perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding.

Field installation may be required from time to time; OSHA certification is beneficial and can be obtained with company support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years fabrication experience.
• Must read prints and use a tape measure accurately.
• MIG, TIG & Stick welding experience required.
• OSHA certification preferred; employer will assist to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components per drawings and specs.
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG and Stick processes.
• Occasional field installation work as needed.
• Adhere to written and verbal directions.

Our client, a precision metal fabrication shop, has an immediate need for an experienced Fabricator, to join their winning team in Columbus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years' fabrication experience
• Must be able to read prints
• Must be able to use a tape measure accurately
• Must be able to follow written & verbal directions
• Experience in MIG, TIG & Stick welding required
• Basic math skills required
• NEEDS to have MIG, TIG, & Stick welding experience
• Thickness - can be tight tolerances or thick cuts/bends, not specific
• There is an aspect of having to go out into the field bc they do both fabrication and installation
• Candidates should be OSHA certified (if not, it's ok, we'll help in getting you certified when employed)
