Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and/or metal fabrication.
• Demonstrated MIG welding experience.
• Demonstrated Stick/Arc welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Ability to understand and maintain specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience fabricating, fitting, and welding metal weldments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication instructions.
• Accurately measure, mark, lay out, cut, fit, tack, and weld metal components.
• Fabricate weldments according to drawings, specifications, and required dimensions.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding on various metal components and assemblies.
• Use measuring tools accurately and identify potential fabrication issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
