Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Experience in production or manufacturing within a sheet metal fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and weld symbols to fit up and fabricate metal components and equipment.
• Tack weld or weld components using GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW welding processes.
• Perform first order inspection to ensure accuracy and dimensions meeting quality standards.
• Operate jib and overhead cranes to move assembled parts.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and standards.
• Assist with coordination of helpers.
• Adhere to ANDRITZ 8 Life-Saving Rules in all work activities.
• Promote the #1ANDRITZway values and behaviors to foster a positive work environment.
