ANDRITZ is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This role performs MIG, flux-core, and stick welding on carbon and stainless steel components using blueprints and fitter layouts.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of welding experience, proficiency with MIG, FCAW, SMAW, and the ability to read prints and use a tape measure. Basic math and safety awareness are required to maintain quality and productivity on the shop floor.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of welding experience.
• Experience with MIG, flux-core, stick, pulse arc, stitch pattern, and tack welding.
• Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret prints.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
• Basic shop math skills, including fractions, decimals, and basic geometry.
• Knowledge of personal protective equipment and safe manufacturing practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MIG/GMAW, flux-core/FCAW, and stick/SMAW welding.
• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel in both in-position and out-of-position applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and fitter layouts.
• Set up components and equipment for welding.
• Adjust amperage, current, and gas flow based on material and welding process.
• Perform oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting.
• Prep parts, drill holes, deburr material, and operate equipment such as plate shears and Ironworkers.
• Follow quality standards and safe work practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, stoop, crouch, walk, climb, and balance.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders or manlifts.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment, fumes, airborne particles, forklifts, electricity, and moderate noise.
