Job summary

Xos Trucks in Byrdstown, TN, invites a hands-on Fabrication Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will fabricate metal components for vehicle chassis and energy products, using fabrication machinery and hand tools.

Prior experience with press brakes or welding is a plus, and vocational training is encouraged. The role emphasizes attention to detail, working from blueprints, and maintaining safety and quality while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with press brakes, welding, or similar fabrication equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components per specifications and work instructions.
• Operate fabrication tools (saws, drills, grinders, laser, press brakes) as trained.
• Assist with press brake setup and bending to required dimensions.
• Prepare materials for welding and support welding activities as trained.
• Follow blueprints, measure parts, and ensure quality conformity.
