Job summary

Xos Trucks in Byrdstown, TN, is seeking hands-on Assembly Technicians to build the chassis and energy products, including the Xos HUB. You'll perform mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring, and enclosure installation to ensure quality.

Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams, follow safety procedures, and participate in continuous improvement. First shift, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical or electrical assembly is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, enclosures, relays or similar components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks for vehicle chassis and energy products according to production specs.
• Assemble and install mechanical components, electrical enclosures, wiring harnesses, relays, and other components.
• Perform wiring, cable routing, electrical connections, and component installation as part of the assembly process.
• Support the assembly of high-voltage electrical enclosures following safety procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete production tasks.
• Inspect assembled components to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
