Job summary

Express Saint Louis in Missouri is seeking a hands-on Machinist/Assembler to help build industrial printing machinery. You will move between forming, finishing, oven processing, and assembly to support custom builds and tight production timelines.

We value experience in manufacturing or operating machines, with bonus for press brake, grinding, deburring, CNC or manual machining, and forklift/overhead crane familiarity. This is a multi-process role with opportunity to grow skills across the shop.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or operating machines.
• Press brake experience is a plus.
• Grinding, deburring, or metal finishing experience.
• Metal fabrication exposure with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• CNC or manual machining experience is a plus.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Mechanically inclined; willing to learn multiple processes.

Responsibilities

• Forming: Operate press brakes and other metal fabrication equipment to shape components to spec.
• Finishing: Grind, deburr, and prep parts using hand and power tools for clean, accurate results.
• Thermal Processing: Load, unload, and monitor parts through an industrial oven with attention to timing and quality.
• Assembly & Build: Assist in fabricating and assembling industrial printing machinery.
• Quality & Documentation: Read and follow work instructions; interpret measurements and production specifications; inspect finished parts for accuracy.
• Flex & Flow: Move between different machines and production areas as needs change; perform material handling and general shop duties.
• Safety & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Team Execution: Collaborate with the production team to complete custom equipment and meet deadlines.
