Central Power Systems & Services in Platte City, MO is seeking a motivated Machine Operator to learn and operate press brake equipment for precision metal fabrication in our Generator Manufacturing Division.

Initial responsibilities include reading shop drawings, using calipers and measuring tools to verify dimensions, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. The role offers growth into Salvagnini and other advanced equipment as skills develop.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and understand basic measurements, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and general manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Mansioni

• Learn to set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to shop drawings and production specifications.
• Develop the skills necessary to advance into operating Salvagnini automated sheet metal fabrication equipment and other manufacturing machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and production instructions.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations to maintain production efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
