Job summary

LeoForce in Morristown, TN is seeking an entry-level Production Associate to support manufacturing operations. You will read specs, set up machines, and perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will operate fabricating equipment, measure parts with a tape measure, and work with fellow operators to maintain efficient production while adhering to safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two years' experience preferred but not required.
• Strong reading, math and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
• Read and understand assembly manuals, diagrams and drawings.
• Follow instructions and perform accurate work quickly.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Develops layout and plans sequence of operations for fabricating and assembling metal products.
• Determines tools and equipment needed; sets up and operates fabricating machines and controls.
• Sets up machine tools and measures length with scales, templates or rules.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to verify accuracy; conducts quality checks.
• Performs minor machine maintenance and assists operators in setup and transport.
• Conducts tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance.
