Safety practices must be strictly followed. This role offers an hourly salary of $18.00 with first shift hours from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of metal structures by cutting, bending, and assembling processes.
• Ensure all safety practices are followed and look for continuous improvement.
• Use Ajax to size intermediate and finishing mills for setup.
• Keep all stands (1-16) at the designed size.
• Maintain communication with mill adjust personnel to ensure the finished product is of prime quality.
• Maintain expected production rates.
• Inspect new stands after installation in the mill to ensure proper setup before rolling.
• Maintain constant axle temperatures by adjusting furnace temps when needed.
