Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements: Review drawings, specifications, and customer requests to understand scope and complexity
• Prepare cost estimates: Calculate material, labor, machine time, and subcontracting costs for custom parts and assemblies
• Develop quotes: Create detailed proposals and pricing for customers, ensuring accuracy and profitability
• Vendor coordination: Obtain pricing from suppliers for raw materials, tooling, and outsourced processes
• Maintain cost database: Update and manage historical cost data for materials, labor rates, and machine operations
• Collaborate with teams: Work with engineering and production to validate feasibility and lead times
• Other duties may be assigned
