Faremouth & Company seeks a Fabrication Estimator to produce accurate cost estimates for custom fabrication projects, including skid packages and piping systems. You will collaborate with customers, engineering, operations, and purchasing to develop competitive proposals while preserving profitability.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFQs and drawings, developing BOMs, obtaining pricing, and interpreting P&IDs and technical specs.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding, piping, structural fabrication, and assembly processes preferred.
• Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, or estimating software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review RFQs, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Prepare labor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
• Develop bills of material (BOMs) and material take-offs.
• Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Estimate skid and piping materials/hours from P&IDs.
• Improve hour standard accuracy through quote verses closeout review and us of AI technology.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams.
• Support project handoffs and maintain estimating documentation.
