Nitro Cutting is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for metal fabrication parts and assemblies in response to RFQs. The Estimator will collaborate with customers, vendors, production, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders

Qualifikationen

• Experience estimating metal fabrication projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of labor, material, equipment, and production costs.
• Analytical, organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, specifications to prepare estimates for equipment time, materials, labor and total project costs.
• Prepare timely quotes in response to customer RFQs.
• Evaluate cost-effectiveness of equipment, materials and processes.
• Track actual project costs against estimates to improve estimating accuracy.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal departments to develop estimates and resolve issues.
• Work with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors regarding changes to cost estimates.
• Prepare estimates and cost information to aid in selecting vendors and subcontractors.
• Review material and labor requirements to decide if components should be manufactured or purchased.
• Follow awarded jobs from estimating through invoicing to ensure on-time delivery.
