Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Assembler - Metal to assemble pre-fabricated metal parts into enclosures on a 1st shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 7:00am–5:30pm; OT on Fridays). You will read blueprints, use hand tools, and perform quality checks to meet stringent standards.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and teamwork in a production environment. Key duties include maintaining station inventory, identifying defects, reworking parts, and documenting data.

Qualifications

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, drawings and/or simple CAD functions.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met.
  • Maintain accuracy in data records and inventory at work stations.

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret and follow blueprints and diagrams to assemble equipment.
  • Utilize hand held tools such as screw drivers and drill guns.
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure product meets standards.
  • Identify defects and report to Team Lead/Supervisor.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment per specs.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area.
  • Operate equipment to produce quality parts meeting customer demands.
  • Maintain accurate data records as assigned.
  • Assist with general cleanup and maintenance.
