Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Assembler to build mechanical enclosures on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm–10:15pm with overtime as needed). You will read blueprints, use handheld tools, maintain inventory, and perform quality checks to ensure high standards.

The role includes potential cross-training as a Machine Operator to support production needs and maintain safety and quality procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings and other technical documents to accurately assemble products.
• Proficient in using handheld tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns to assemble components.
• Maintain inventory levels at the workstation to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Identify product defects and report to Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Rework or repair assembled products per engineering specs or customer requests.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and manufacturing documents to assemble parts correctly.
• Use handheld tools to assemble components.
• Maintain workstation inventory for smooth production.
• Perform quality checks on assembled products.
• Identify defects and escalate to supervisor.
