Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an assembler to perform general duties under the supervision of the production lead. You will install lead wires or terminals and insulation per the production spec, and you will contribute daily by working independently or with teammates to maximize productivity and efficiency.

The role requires reading and using measuring devices, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Read, use and understand measuring devices; basic math skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as side cutters and lineman pliers.

Responsibilities

• Install lead wires or terminals and insulation per production specification sheet.
• Work independently or with a team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Identify lead wire and terminal types and install them per production specification sheet.
• Assure that all products meet the highest standard of quality.
• Follow safety rules and ISO requirements; adhere to OSHA guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; follow company policies.
• Operate a hoist properly and safely.
