Job summary

Hadco Metal Trading Co.,LLC is seeking a Circular Saw Operator to set up and operate an industrial saw, cutting metal stock to exact dimensions per blueprints and work orders. This full-time on-site role emphasizes precision, measurement skills, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Math and measuring skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Experience using calipers (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or CNC machines to accurately cut material for customer orders.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Use quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Operate and monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes.
• Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
• Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
• Work directly with the production supervisor to ensure accuracy of customer requirements.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer delivery requirements and company performance goals.

Position Summary

As a Circular Saw Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating an industrial saw to cut, trim, and shape metal stock (such as steel or aluminum) to precise dimensions based on work orders and blueprints to meet customer specifications.

Work Schedule

Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
