Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Project Development Specialist to clarify and manage design-build projects, coordinating with the Engineering team and production groups to ensure clear scope and timely delivery.

You will prepare detailed project descriptions, coordinate pre-construction drawings, and support value engineering, constructability reviews, and customer inquiries. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality, and safety in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Associate or 2-year technical degree or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in Algebra and Trigonometry.
• 3 years of experience in the Metal Building field.
• Experience in communicating with contractors, engineers, and architects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction drawings with production team and customer to verify information accuracy.
• Provide project coordination and design services using engineering drawings.
• Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality and safety initiatives.
• Participate in pre-coordination meetings, evaluations, studies and value engineering.
• Deliver CAD drawings and maintain drawing sets for customers and teams.
