Johnson Controls is seeking a Data Catalog & Lineage Lead to drive enterprise metadata management, data catalog implementation, and lineage governance across data assets. You'll collaborate with governance, quality, engineering, and security teams to deliver trusted metadata and actionable insights.

The role focuses on establishing standards, roadmaps, and governance practices to ensure data assets are discoverable, understandable, and compliant throughout their lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data management, data governance, analytics, data architecture, or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading metadata, catalog, or lineage initiatives.
• Experience with large-scale cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead the enterprise metadata management strategy.
• Define standards for metadata and governance across business and technical domains.
• Lead implementation of data catalog platforms and ensure discoverability.
• Define and implement data lineage standards across sources and pipelines.
• Govern metadata quality, stewardship, and ownership concepts.
• Lead business glossary development and standardization.
• Provide impact analysis for schema changes and data platform migrations.
• Support regulatory, privacy, and audit requirements with lineage evidence.
• Engage stakeholders across governance, data engineering, analytics, and security.
