Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System is seeking a Metabolic Unit RN Per Diem Day at the Metabolic Unit 1G. The hospital is recognized with Magnet designations for nursing excellence and patient outcomes.

The RN will join a collaborative team, perform assessments, adhere to Standards of Care, administer medications, and meticulously document care. Strong clinical orientation and commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
