Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Metabolic Unit 1G on a per diem day shift. You will join a Magnet-recognized team focused on exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes, contributing to assessments and care while adhering to Standards of Care.

Eligible candidates are NJ-licensed RNs; BSN is preferred. BLS certification is required, with ECG coursework completed during orientation.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
