Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking a Surgical Unit RN for per diem night shifts on 3G. The Magnet‑designated hospital emphasizes exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes.

You’ll join a collaborative team delivering direct patient care and adhering to established standards of care. The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, and an ECG course, with BSN preferred and about 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Surgical Unit RN Per Diem Nights will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 51.00 - 51.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job‑related work experience, internal equity, and industry‑specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full‑time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
