Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Field-based Medical Science Liaison to support rare disease products, with emphasis on genetics and Inborn Errors of Metabolism including Phenylketonuria. You will build scientific relationships and deliver expert presentations for clinicians, payors, and researchers.

The role requires 2+ years of MSL experience with strong data interpretation ability and willingness to travel 50–60%.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in a life sciences field is required.
Minimum 2 years of MSL experience, preferably in orphan or high-cost specialty products.
Strong ability to engage KOLs, interpret scientific data, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50–60%, including overnight and long-distance travel.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, clinicians, academic institutions, and payors.
Deliver scientific presentations to diverse stakeholders.
Support advisory boards and educational initiatives.
Gather market insights, monitor competitor activities, and provide feedback to management.
Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence.
Facilitate grant and research support requests.
Represent the company at medical meetings and symposia.
