Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree with a minimum of 2 years of MSL experience.
• Experience with orphan/rare diseases and PKU preferred.
• Experience coordinating with patient access services for high-cost products.
• Proven ability to engage KOLs, clinicians, payors and academia.
• Strong ability to interpret data and present to scientists and HCPs.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; clear technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Attend national and regional medical meetings as a representative of PTC; gather data and cultivate professional relationships.
• Deliver fair-balanced clinical presentations to HCPs and payors on product use.
• Identify speakers for advisory boards and educational programs with approved materials.
• Support regional medical initiatives and market insights.
• Provide input on competitive therapies, business development opportunities/risks.
• Establish and maintain relations with health authorities, payors, and academia.
• Facilitate grant/research initiative submissions per company policy.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory, compliance, and quality issues.
• Monitor competitor information and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Daily hospital/facility entries; comply with credentialing requirements.
