Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Medical Science Liaison (MSL) / Senior MSL to support rare disease therapeutics in the NJ/NY territory. You will engage with healthcare professionals, share scientific data, and build relationships while advancing medical strategies.

The role is field-based remote with 50-75% travel, including evenings and weekends, and requires deep knowledge in cardiology or neurology and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced healthcare degree required (MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years MSL or 4+ years Senior MSL in medical affairs or clinical roles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to build scientific relationships.
• Experience in rare diseases, cardiology, or neurology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
• Serve as a scientific expert and educate on therapeutic areas.
• Contribute to medical strategies and facilitate research collaborations.
• Represent the company at scientific forums and meetings.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure scientifically balanced medical information.
